Normally he loved the company of the Alpha, but right now he had enough to think about to keep him busy. He needed to be alone for a bit.

Quickly he set off for the border, planning to cross it and get away for a bit. He was excited for the new rank, he really was, but it would add a whole new level of anxiety upon his shoulders.
