When Nishu replied, Osprey had a feeling that she had missed some point, because she had no idea, who these "we" were. Maybe his previous pack? He hadn't gone in much detail about them, spilling only some bits and pieces about the whole knight-business. Anyway... she pushed the questions and doubts away, happy that the final decision was left up to Peregrine. He would probably ask more and that way she would find out more without asking too.
As for the reasons of bringing him to the plateau - they were both practical and a bit selfish too. One didn't meet individuals of that kind every day and she was curious about his background. If they bid farewells here and now it was a high chance that she would never see the fellow again and that way she would miss an interesting piece of history. So in part Nishu was correct thinking that she wanted to have him near for a while. As for the rest - time would show.
She didn't say much at all, while they made their way to the plateau, once they were at the borders, she cast a glance back at the wolf thus telling him to stay, where he was, then lifted her muzzle and howled for her brother.
