The priestess went to hunt. A rare occurance, given the woman's voluptuous form. She did not look like a hunter at all. But, she did frequent the hunting grounds, especially now that her pack had been created. She was hunting in order to fill their caches for winter's coming arrival.

She was successful, for one who had spent most of her life constantly cushioned. Two fat hares, a young otter by the creek. She was ready to call it a day when she saw something rustling in the grass, an ominous rattle. Meldresi stood still as she saw the brown serpent in a defensive posture, rattling its tail defensively. Her indigo eyes met its flat, green ones. She mused for a while, let it go, or kill it to harvest it's venom. Decisions, decisions.
