The Heartwood In Need of A Home

Kisu moved slowly through the shallow forest. It was curious how spaced-out the trees were compared to Nerverwinter Forest. The leaves were almost gone from the branches above his head, fallen to the floor below. This place would be enjoyable in the springtime, but the grey wolf felt a chill in the open air. It was getting colder day-by-day, and he would have to find shelter that had a food course nearby for the winter. Or join a pack... he thought cautiously, not sure if truly had a choice in the matter.

The silvery-golden eyed wolf met up with the stream that parted the woods slightly. He followed it a couple of yards away, weaving through the sparse trees when necessary. He knew that a pack didn't reside here, but Kisu smelled faint traces of another wolf. Wondering if said wolf was nearby, Kisu kept himself alert and moved foward.
