Blackfoot Forest lockdown

She didn't bother arguing with him as he left, nor did she give him a farewell. Her composure, normally rock-solid, was teetering. With a savage growl she whirled, taking off through the trees. She wasn't sure where she was going, but she needed to clear her head and get her thoughts in order. Perhaps she'd find a sparring partner amongst the wild creatures, or take down some prey.

The prospect of not going home was unacceptable, but that was what she faced right now. At least his pledging had a silver lining... she would know where to find him. She would have taken the trade any day, however, to have him free to accompany her back to their home. For no matter how he denied it, it was his home as much as it was hers. He was just too blind to see it.
