After all the biologically father of her children had been mute, why couldn't another be deaf. So with a determined step she moved closer, because now she was infinitely curious.

She blocked his path and stared at him with bright blue eyes. Granted if he really wanted to brush past her he could, but she was not going to tamper her curiosity this time.
