The honeyed wolf woke violently, disturbed by a loud crackle of thunder in the atmosphere. The air was humid, and Falwasi wondered when the drastic temperature plummet was going to happen. As she blinked her copper eyes open, nose twitching, she picked up a scent that did not belong to a Creek wolf, nor to any other wolf pack in Teekon Wilds as far as she was concerned. The last time she encountered a lone wolf... well, it had been an interesting conversation. Unsure of whether Swiftcurrent Creek disapproved of lone wolves lingering in their territory, she decided to go and see why the wolf was in her pack's lands.
She followed the scent towards Wapun Meadow, the exact place where her encounter with Shadow had taken place. 'Maybe it's him again.' she thought, grimacing as she imagined the brute's smirk. As she loped through the tall grass in the dry thunderstorm, she caught a glimpse of a pale wolf cantering across the meadow. Falwasi increased her pace, tearing up the ground to catch up with the wolf who seemed to be running away from her.
Her ears shot up as a loud snort erupted from ahead of Falwasi, which meant it had come from in front of the stranger. It wasn't a wolf-like sound, and as the wolf that she now made out to be a ragged pale ash and charcoal creature came to a trot and then to a halt, she saw the burly brown creature walking towards the scraggly wolf. Fal was sure the bear hadn't sensed the wolves' scent, yet it seemed to hulk towards the male unknowingly. Falwasi gradually stopped and stood still behind the tall wolf, waiting to see what would happen next. She lowered herself swiftly to the ground, hairs lifting off her back and her eyes fixed on the bear. The less visible she made herself, the better it would be for both of their sakes.
