Lasher followed behind them, and she glanced over her shoulder to him briefly before returning her gaze to her mate, trotting alongside. "But it almost seems like you're gunning for the opposite." Fox wouldn't mind either way, of course, but she worried Perry would regret it once he wasn't able to frequently visit his brother. That was, of course, assuming he would traverse the world outside his home.

Fox didn't stop her steady jog beside him, as he seemed energized to see what was beyond the mountain, but she wanted to ensure that he was happy where they ended up.
