Amekaze had been an enigma to him, if only because the two had never conversed before, despite briefly sharing the title of pack mate to one another. She had been quick to follow Ferdie and Jace, and he had been too indifferent to the entire situation at first to truly care only except for maintaining hunting grounds and space from the rival pack. They had settled too close for comfort, and yet after everything, they had at least managed to keep distance.
