King Elk Forest Exploration

He lifted his nose to the wind as his sister examined the foot print just as he did. There were many scents on the wind, he smelled Mom, Jarus, even The Big Man, he found one that matched the footprint, it seemed if they kept following the prints it would lead them to what he sought.

His sister led him to crossroads where she sniffed at a pile of droppings. Her expression confused him. He took a turn to sniff the droppings and made a similar expression of displeasure. However, it was the same scent. As the footprints, and the same smell that had led him out here to begin with. "Follow." He told his sister.

He stalked, his nose to the ground, he spotted bits of fur here and there. Very different from his own. He poked at it with his paw, tilting his head at his sister. "What is it?"
