Ocean blue eyes scanned her with wariness, she looked amused, pleased and that made him even warier of her. 'I'm sure if I was in a pack, we'd be swarming all over you right now," the dark stranger grinned. Keen steely eyes caught the way she looked at him as if analyzing him. He concealed his initial amusement at that, someone using his own medicine against himself. The scarred Roman canted his head slightly as she approached with ease. It reminded him of Scipio, who had always been more of a water wolf despite his muscular stocky build. Perhaps the blood of Neptune was stronger within him that it was with them and with his patron also the god of the sea....
He told himself not to stiffen as she leaned towards his neck, picked up a wad of seaweed and spat it out. "You don't seem the type to be swimming around." He remained stoic and indifferent although a flicker of amusement crossed his blue eyes. "I'm not, although my brother is. Neptune's blood runs stronger through his veins." he replied in the same softly accented voice. His gaze, harsh and cold gave her a brief checkout. It was in his blood to be wary of others after all.
Vale shook himself and sea debris went flying everywhere, his wounds stung badly and he felt the blood trickling down his light colored fur again but not a single hint of the pain he was going through showed through. A Roman to the end.
