Ouroboros Spine dry country

Cuan wondered what winter would be like in this curved valley, nestled between the lumbar of mountains. Where the two males stood, the hills had crested into a fair vantage point. High up, they felt the rush of breeze, but no doubt the mountains blocked a good amount of wind. But it also meant that cold would settle like an unmovable blanket across their home. It would be like a popsicle of forest, submerged in a deep freeze. Cuan shuddered at the thought, but this Mordecai seemed more than bulky enough to stand the snow.
