It sounded a bit like Noctem Vagus except his father wouldn't really kill his own pack members unless they committed an extreme offense. Usually he just tortured them and well, you would rather die than experience that. To those who got the death sentence, they died especially painfully. "Rome, the Rome I barely saw was civilized, disciplined, governed by laws and rules that kept order. But the pack I came from was led by my father, a brutal, cruel, merciless wolf. Most wolves that were in there would rather die than live. My father...was heartless, he didn't kill wolves but tortured them so much they would much rather just leave this world. For those who do receive a death sentence, its an exceptionally painful death." he paused recalling the memories of the tortured wolves, victims to his father's cruelty.
It was a hard life for all of them, especially the leader's sons. For they were trained extra hard, to be the best of the best. "Everyday, the blood of the members water the meadows. Not spilled by outsiders, but by my father. He was stricter and crueler to his sons, for they have to be the best of the best, if not they were to be beaten up and banished." he smiled crookedly. "Bleeding, battered and injured, they usually don't survive." he concluded.
"Rome is a place that I wish to live in, but not my natal pack." the Praetor said as they walked. He didn't mind sharing this because the information was only the tiniest scrap of what he had experienced.
