Bane told her the borders were all clear, but his attention was focused on another thing, as she suspected. His silver eyes wandered across her body hungrily, not even trying to hide it. He was certainly not much of a subtle person, that was for sure. Not one for spy work or for the life of a courtesan, but her goddess had led her to him. He would suffice for something.
When he mentioned the moon, the priestess glanced up. She hadn't even notice the celestial body before, and now saw what Bane was talking about. The moon was darker, failing to illuminate the sky as it normally did, especially since this was a hunter's moon, one of the brightest of the year. She had only seen the phenomena once before.
