The sea gave them strength and the Drowned One did much for creating life, but he didn't lurk in their souls. The sea did. For all that matter, Tethys looked down all other deities. No doubt that's why this bulky, ashy male didn't fare well in the waves. The empathy in her was quickly wiped away and replaced by a haughty expression.
