"That's good!" said Saena, who felled silent as others filed in. Tytonidae was next, earning a smile from her cousin; then Blue Willow, a nameless female, Amelie, Aunt Osprey, and the sad-looking male from the first meeting arrived shortly after. Her gaze lingered on him a little longer than the others, but she couldn't gauge what he was thinking or feeling, and soon Dante was making announcements and she turned to watch him.

Blue Willow didn't take up her rightful place as Alpha female. This came as a surprise to Saena, who wholly expected the woman to return to the rank she'd given up for the selfish female that had left it vacant, but she didn't say anything. She watched the healer expectantly for a second, then glanced back at Dante. Osprey's approval was evident, and Saena waved her tail and tucked down her snout in an approving wolfish smile. She said nothing, though, as she had no questions she wished to ask.
