Thistle had not yet known that Ragnar was back, so when she heard the howl she finished her last patrol and took off at a trot towards it. Upon coming closer she felt a growl work it's way up in her throat as she saw another wolf in the territory, but swiftly realized it was her husband and quieted it, before anyone could hear it. She probably would not have had such a bad reaction, if there hadn't been a trespasser while he was gone. She continued forward confidence in her step, she slid to her husband's side and stared at the newcomer with her ever present fire in her eyes.
Her tail swayed gently behind her as she studied the male in front of her. He was an interesting character, and she supposed handsome in his own right to others, and if she was looking. However, she wasn't really. No man had been able to catch her eye since she took her husband as her own.
