The Shepherd had brought new paws, and a new voice to his ears, ones that had Hviske's own perking and swiveling to find the source. Another bite of his rabbit down his throat and he looked around. Huh? he started, before finally looking upward. The fur on his back and neck stood at attention for a moment. That... wasn't... Creed... 

Hello? his voice was soft, quiet, spider-silk. He gathered his paws under him to get a better look, his grey head tilting and his nose sniffing fiercely. No... pack-scent, and a yearling, like him.
