Harlyn stole a brief glance at his eyes simply for assessment purposes, but found nothing there that betrayed anything of his personality which actually told her everything she needed to know. This one was a cold brute, one that Harlyn was quite convinced she'd be hard-pressed to find any depth in except buried deep, deep down to a core that perhaps he himself wasn't even familiar with.

Intrigued, Harlyn stopped a respectable distance away from him. "Have you been with the Spine long?" she asked, eager to learn more about this dark soul.
