"That's a strange tradition," Rain comments. How could a pack flourish if pups were expected to leave once grown? Perhaps they had a large pack and couldn't support all their wolves. If she had lived in a pack like that, she doesn't think she could actually leave without a fight. "Don't you miss them?"
