Sequoia Coast tea leaves

He found himself by the seashore again, revelling in the salty smell of the ocean. He found that the beach was exceptionally cold and windy as the seasons changed. The wind raked through his fur, parting the protective layers and exposing his skin to the cold air. He pressed his teeth together and hissed in response to the cold, but kept walking along the water. He could not even fathom what the water felt like.

He was not the only one at the mercy of the wind; another wolf, female, emerged from the water and walked through the waters. He wondered if she belonged to that big, white male's pack, the one who visited them a few days ago. He chuffed, hoping to get her attention.
