"Why the hell not?" the lithe wolf replied to Scimitar's non-malicious challenge. He stood up and gave his pelt a shake as he searched over Falwasi, who like so, stood up. Now they would fight, like they almost had the day on the lake, except this time it was not one of bitterness.

The she-wolf positioned herself, shifting her weight to her haunches, ready for the first move like she always did. Falwasi smiled inwardly, glad to finally get to spar in her new pack. The warrior trade was more of a habit to her, and she was appealed to become one because she had been one in her old pack, not because it was something she enjoyed doing. If she wanted to pursue the trade, this was her chance to prove she was skilled enough.
