He nodded at her comments on a den, smiling himself at the almost sleepy way she smiled. "Where do you think we should locate the den? Maybe not too far from the pack den?"

His worries of having stillborn, eaten, or slaughtered children filled his mind a lot of the time. It was almost an obsession at this point.
