Her sister shifted, kneaded, and made cooing noises long unknown to her ears. This must have signaled feeding time, so she went on happily with breakfast, but she noticed that mamas breast had color. Pink.
She could now hear a low soft rumbling, and it was mama Raindrop. She turned her eyes toward her mother, and sister. And then to her other two siblings eagerly, her tiny tail wagging happily.
But…. She wasn’t conscious of it at the time, knowing no time concept to begin with, she wondered. Where was Daddy? She couldn’t smell his scent nearby the den? She whimpered a small “Ma-ma” squeak. She wanted some attention now, maybe kisses.
