There was a moment's pause as both awaited the other to make the first move -- Scimitar fully believed 'ladies first,' but when the tawny creature did not initiate, he had an awkward moment of whether to simply sit down and insist upon it.. or move ahead.

He chose to move ahead-- Falwasi could not always be the first to strike an opponent (perhaps she never had) and so he simply went with it. His ivory paws began the age old dance then, his figure shifting his weight as he lowered his muzzle drastically to protect his throat, while his ears slid back to his skull in protection as well.

With the first lunge, his jaws remained agape as his body pressed forward to roll a shoulder heavily in to her - he was willing to bet she was far more agile than perhaps even Bazi when they had sparred.
