As she finished with her signature move, Falwasi let out a soft and breathless laugh, turning and walking not very far away from Scimitar with a flick of her tail. He had put up a good fight — and so had she, but in the end it was the slender female who had conquered.

The male made no sound, and with furrowed brows she looked back at him. He was sprawled across the ground. "Scimitar?" Falwasi said gingerly, approaching him. Every step she took, her speed increased, and before she could blink she was by his side, at a respectable distance from his body.

Sticking out a long leg carefully in case the Alpha were to get up suddenly, having pranked her, she pushed her paw into his dark shoulder. He did not move. Backing away a couple of steps, she whispered: "Oh my God..." Louder. "Oh my God." Falwasi halted in her tracks, putting her head between her forelimbs, "What the hellllllllllll!" she said to herself.

Falwasi blinked hard, lifting her head from between her legs, then opened her eyes. There he was, still draped across the bristly grass. "Scimitar, this isn't funny," she announced calmly, having had enough of games. She feared if he were knocked out for real, the bear would be miffed with her. So she wait in the moonlit night sky, wind ruffling her feathery fur.
