They danced – it was a gentle shuffle, truly – both gave softer ministrations of snapping jaws than would occur in a true fight, and yet the tawny regal was pleased with the finesse the she-wolf presented him. She was usually one step ahead of him (most were, his bulk holding back any agility he might have) and offered insight to a few interesting ideas.

Indeed, when he thought he might even have her after she was beginning to wear him down, the cinnamon male leapt forward, aiming to push her in to the ground. That was when Falwasi pulled a very interesting tactic – her hind limbs lifted off the ground, much like he had witnessed a goat on a mountain, and before he could duck further to avoid the blow, her hind limbs would crack in to his skull. Everything went black in that moment.

He wasn’t sure how long he was out – in fact, as one eye groggily opened after minute’s he felt a sharp pain in his head. Falwasi was standing above him, though her words were missed in their context. He was far too preoccupied with recalling the events that had laid him to the ground.

It was then he remembered a rather feisty kick from his sparring partner. “You didn’t tell me you were half mountain goat,” he rasped out, wincing as he made to push himself up to his rump.
