Somnia sat there, stony-faced. She tried to make the connection between different colored grapes and breathing, but she just couldn't. Grapes couldn't have anything to do with breathing, could they? Seeing Peregrine cackling, she pretended to understand, making herself chuckle a bit.

When they reached their departing location, she replied with a, "See you later," to Peregrine who was already leaving. Somnia brushed shoulders with Elwood amiably, telling him, "I'll see you around too." Once Elwood and Peregrine were out of sight, the meaning of the joke hit her. Your face supposedly got purple underneath your fur when you weren't breathing. She chuckled for real this time, continuing on the way home.
