Kaede listened with distinct interest to the proceedings, especially the news of the mother-to-be and the sire of her future children. It seemed perhaps his skill set might get some honing here after all. Not all was sunshine and roses as it had first appeared.

Now that he had knowledge of the situation, he would do some exploring of his own. A tactician by nature, he knew that knowledge could oftnetimes be power when it came to disagreements between differing groups. Personally he had no qualms about her presence here, so remained neutral, reading the situation around him with a diffident air. He did not know her so did not bristle defensively as some, but nor would he be so callous as to express displeasure at her return. If she felt this was her home, and her loyalty had brought her back, then he had no place to say whether or not she belonged. Still he could not help but be a bit curious. As he had said before, those who left rarely returned, and he personally would question the solidity of her place here. What was to stop her from leaving again?
