Through a veil (Any healers?)

The huge shadow slipped into a lying position, his eyes still on the Alpha. "Thank you" he added gruffly as he shifted his weight. He peered at his wounds again, they were looking much better. They would look even better if he had not met that meddlsome female.

"Is it true there is a hostage in these cave?" he blurted out. He had heard talk of one moments ago. He did not care if there was or wasn't one, but he wanted to know as much about his pack as possible.
