Emberwood Don't put me on display

The Amazonian huntress's first order of business when first she left the Glacier behind was to seek out these other 'Amazons', should they be fit to wear the title. She was intrigued, but she knew they had to be in at least the general area of the coast, that being where she had met the wolf who told her of them. The only problem was that she did not know exactly where to begin. She had little desire to ask around, but a hunter could not be choosy when it came to chasing down their quarry. If it got the job done, it was an option.

Currently she was heading in the general direction of the ocean, the route leading her through a forest whose trees rose on either side, skeletal limbs bare against the midday sky. She had been loping a day and a half to get this far, but as she entered the trees, her strides had slowed, and she looked about warily. In the open there was little chance of ambush, but in areas such as these, it was always best to keep alert.
