Though it was very likely that Sumayl could have pinpointed a deer to take down himself — that was apart of being a hunter, after all — the golden Ostrega couldn't help but think that it was perhaps, only polite that he allow Summer to choose which he wanted. The prize, providing that Sumayl was actually successful at taking it down, would end up being Summer's to snack on or conserve or do whatever he wished with it. Polite wasn't something that Sumayl did often and it felt strange to offer a courtesy now, but he did it anyway. After all, it wasn't like he was doing this without gaining anything from it. It wasn't an entirely selfless act. He was getting the chance to prove his prowess as a hunter, and hopefully help to earn his place further within The Sunspire; something that he needed to do considering the fact that he liked to get into verbal fights with it's Beta: Jace. Not a great start, Sumayl had to consider.

Sumayl was broken out of his errant thoughts when he felt Summer's shoulder nudge against his to get his attention. Sumayl's gaze followed Summer's own, ear cupping towards the youth when he began to speak, pointing out his target. Sumayl found the doe Summer made reference too easily, eyeing her, and looking for signs that the youth was correct: that there was a fawn she was keeping hidden, tucked away, foolishly by her side, away from the herd as if that was going to protect it. “Sounds like a plan,” Sumayl broke his silence to murmur as he began down the incline, his eyes trained on the doe, taking the initiative to head down first, knowing without needing to look back to confirm that Summer wasn't too far behind.
