As the old fart rolled to his feet, he felt a wave of familiar pain emanating from his shoulders - more so on his right side. The beast barely winced as he drew back, promptly plopping his butt in the snow.

As he said this, Amon took a step to test his body, and felt a duller pain in his back than before. It still hurt, and would likely hurt for a few weeks, but the pain wasn't so bad now. Plus his right leg was no longer slightly too long. Bonus.
