Hello!

The tawny female had not been able to help herself, and instead had decided to spend one of her first nights listening to the Ocean. The ferocity with which it moved still mesmerized her slightly, and the song it sang throughout the day and night made her ears quiver with excitement. However, her resting place so close to the Ocean made for cold nights, and although she felt she was right on the precipice of discovering the secrets the Moon and the Ocean shared, she found it necessary to start moving before the Sun made its muted appearance at daybreak.

She moved briskly through the rocks, urging her muscles to warm up, and eventually was breathing heavily, her breath painted in frost in front of her face. It had been two days since her last good meal, having been preoccupied with becoming acquainted with her new home. Yet, true to her nature Wip had been watching the nature around her, studying it fastidiously, and had made careful note of the comings and goings of the fauna that also inhabited this land. The hares in particular since they were a favorite of hers. Most notably was that they seemed to enjoy a nibble of the sea grass early in the morning, and so, waiting perched atop a smooth boulder, Wip eagerly poised herself, waiting where she had seen a cluster of tracks that were sure to produce a tasty meal.

It proved to be a quick hunt, as winter had descended on the land for several weeks now, causing the prey to be more daring in collecting whatever flora was left. Wip happily trotted with the white hare, dangling limply from the neck, searching for a safe place to honor this first meal when the sudden rustling of leaves surprised her. A bright red fox burst from the brush, in an apparent panic and collided with her chest, running up over her shoulder and darting past behind her. Wip turned to look at it surprised, and then turned back only to collide with the male that was in hot pursuit.

Ow...what the...? She said meekly.
