Crescendo smiled, his ears perked."Assassins" he said. It was not a question, but a statement. Was he considered an assassin? Perhaps, as he had killed a whole group of coyotes. That day was holy to him, the fire that coursed through his veins, the instinct that told him to take the lives of everything that moved. The dark queen moved on, however.

"I have watched as a wolf trespassed upon their lands. They simply talked it out. A powerful pack would have no such dealing with a trespasser."
