Loyalty was more important to her than knowing how to kill, or even being willing to kill without a second thought. That could come later.

"Then there is knowing how to kill, spy, track and the like. Those are the tools of our trade." She had yet to assign the different trades of being a Dark Brother (or Sister): that of the Spy, Assassin, or Necromancer. She was more of a Necromancer, but she was just as good a spy. Perhaps when more of her Brothers showed more promise in those areas, then she could start assigning it. "There is a small ceremony before I can give you the mark, but before that I have to see if you are truly ready for it. You won't get in just because you are interested, of course."
