This time, the young prince of the litter awoke without any of his siblings nudging him or his mother telling him to wake up to do something. He blinked, getting used to the light after what seemed like hours in the darkness, staring at the back of his eyelids. Squashed beside his sister and his runt of a brother, he lifted his head, wondering where his pale brother was. Julius had gotten a taste of power, but his older brother was determined to be the permanent owner of it.

Traianus rose unsteadily onto his paws and began taking small baby steps forward, luckily Jules was close and he soon arrived beside his younger brother where he slumped down, proud of his small achievement.
