Kieran saw the child coming out of the den, and he soon moved quickly. Standing in front of the den mouth so the child couldn't go far. He looked down at him with a small little smile on his grizzled muzzle. "'ey fella. wha chucker yer tink you're 'eadin' dis gran' day?"
He bent his scarred head towards the child and blinked green eyes at him. Trying to stay at eye level so he didn't startle him. He was a wee lad, but cute. Silver fur kissed his body and baby blue eyes, not yet their adult color looked up at him. He twitched his nose in an attempt to hide a smile.
