Valtýr smiled when Dante didn't shoot down his suggestion, and it made the child realize that, on the Plateau, he was very much in control of his own destiny. It was both frightening and thrilling... so much that the boy dismissed the notion, so overwhelmed by the sudden rush of independence.

Dante questioned about who to approach Pura about the responsibility and, truly, Val didn't know which would be better.
