For Silas~

Today had been especially bitter. Even the wolf, who was a creature so suited for frigid temperatures, felt winter's sting. Most days this week had been mild but, unfortunately for the forest's warm-blooded inhabitants, the temperature had plummeted. Even the early morning sun could not quell the cold as great plumes vapor erupted from the Phi's nose and mouth as she traveled through Neverwinter in search of relief from the cold.

Unwilling to rest, Tuwawi kept her body in constant motion. If she stayed still too long the frost was sure to creep onto her limbs. All of her pack mates (none of who she had met) were enigmas, surely bunkering down in their warm homes. But for one without a den, this arctic air was a nightmare. Slowly the trees thinned, and only then did it dawn on Tuwawi that she was at the Eastern borders.

Great low laying clouds shifted over the land in the distance - such a peculiar sight when the air was so cold and dry. This valley had a shared border with her old land, Silvertip, but Tuwawi could not recall such a sight. Curious, she set off at a fast trot - a straight shot to the land known as Firestone Hot Springs.
currently sports a radio collar around her neck.
