Still open to SS of course. Also, I assumed he was sneaking bites while she dragging the carcass towards SS boarders.
[size=small] Time was of the essence. Of this much the Redleaf-DiSarinno was sure as she stole the occasional glance towards the would be icebox. In her bones she dreaded the idea of contention over her carcass attempting to be pirated. Of course, she could understand the lure but, there was something especially grating about the threat coming from pack wolves. At times she loathed their privledges almost as much as she did the limitations of her own circumstance. Nevertheless, she had no choice but to struggle on.
So it was without a mind for permissiveness that Persephone finally noticed the little fox. Growling, even before she could release the meat -she snapped at him with the devil in her eyes. To think that he had been sneaking choice cuts during the arduous climb? Posturing herself over the doe, the brunette dared the lesser creature to attempt another such evasion.[/size]
