Unlike the others, Kadence was no easy prey. A glance and an empty smile usually sent others running to him, but she was different...and he liked it. A lot.

He leaned forward, closer to her. The emotions running high threatened to break through their shell, though he wasn't sure he cared. He licked his chops, eyes still locked onto the fae's. Flames of desire leaped higher in his cold eyes, but he pushed them down. Not yet. But soon. Very, very soon.
