With a nod of agreement, the cinnamon wolf quietly bent down, his jaws snapping at a piece of flesh to grab hold of and begin to pull. There was enough of them that he felt that could pull the carcass home -- though it was unfortunate it was further away from their homelands. Still, the pack would need the food, and he would not see them go without or leave the remains here for a scavenger to pick at.

It was slow moving, but would be well worth it once they brought their prize home. Their pregnant resident would be well fed -- and perhaps it would even ease Falwasi's disheartened state at the lack of food they had for a few weeks now.
