If you want to start an attack at the sparring pit, you can. :) Or I can.

There was no question that his opponent had been found. The scent that had clung so grotesquely to his almost mate was thick in the air, and soon the swarthy male lumbered to his paws. Scimitar recognized him from the battle, and his one good ear flickered forward to listen as the wolf gave a faux jovial greeting.

"I didn't catch your name at our last meeting," he drawled, his large frame lumbering forward and beginning to slow. "But it doesn't matter. I have a message for you to give to your Alpha.." His words faded then, his limbs shifting as he braced himself for battle. There was no question as to what would happen here -- his muzzle thrust lower to protect his nape, his lips pulled back to flash his yellowing teeth to his opponent. "Come closer and I'll tell you," he mused, his tail giving a lash through the air as he waited. One single movement from the ebony wolf and Scim would launch -- his muscles tensed.
he came and stole the wild
a crime so old as the sky and bone
