Tempest heard the first call, alien and warning. Her ears twisted flat against her skull, and she whirled, trying desperately to pinpoint from where the threatening call had come from. Fitz howled out soon after, rallying his pack around him. Before rushing to him, Tempest leaned back her muzzle and let out her own call, one that threatened any creature that harmed her pack with death. Her normally happy gaze flickered a deadly, angry look, and she rushed toward Fitz.

As she loped through the white, an instinct ignited within her. "Fight," it whispered"Protect.". As she loped quickly toward Fitz, another baying howl/bark rent the air. Something was on their territory, something she had not seen before. Instead of worrying her, it only made her angrier. She materialized at Fitz's side, staring up at the figure, only to see another join it. Her eyes narrowed, and a feral, low growl escaped her.
