She let a tiny smile of satisfaction reach her face as she successfully pulled his paw out from under her but it faded a bit as he regained his footing and tried to get underneath her, to push her upwards and out of the way. But she wouldn't let him win, not this time.
As soon as he got underneath her and was ready to push upwards, she pushed off the ground with all for paws and aimed to set them squarely on his back, in a manner that would hopefully drag him to the ground.
