Greatwater Lake Like Crystals, Reflecting in the Darkness

I've been having a LOADA muse with this guy lately, so I'm just gonna be a bi-atch and jump in

Oh, wanderlust. Why now in the middle of winter? Why not somewhere in summer, when his pack could spare him? Oh wanderlust. Why now? Flash mentally complained as he followed the stream he found. His feet ached as he cross the mountain terrain, completely forgetting about his duties. Oh wanderlust, why now? Why now in the land of ice and snow? Why in the middle of the deadly season?

He manage to cross over the mountain terrain, before scenting a vast source of water before him. Leaping across the snow, he continued forward, jumping up a couple of borders before reaching the lake. "Woah." The golden beta exclaimed as he stood over the lake, staring down at the rippling water. Somewhere away, another wolf scent caught his attention. "Another wolf is here?" he wondered out loud, before spotting a figure. Canting his head, he jumped back down and started heading for it.
