You Hungry Yet

Bindi was close to earning her warden trade. She had practiced with Fitz, patrolled the boarders. However the midnight wolfess had not forgotten about how she needed to find a valuable food source for the pack. The deer Riassa had found was a start, so with her nose low to the ground Bindi went looking for a herd. The hoofed animals she came upon were not deer, but instead caribou. Their antlers were dangerous, along with their strong legs that could kill a wolf with one hit to the head. The pack couldn't take down a strong male caribou, not yet. Nevertheless there was always the weak, the sick, the slow and they would make a fine meal.

There were a few unfit caribou in the herd, but with the pack's low numbers, she couldn't call for a hunt, even if they did gain a new male and their numbers were increasing. Something popped into her mind, if the pack was going to hunt these big animals they needed practice. Everyone needed to learn how to work with others when hunting, how to communicate with each other, they needed to become one in the hunt. For now she stayed low making sure the wind doesn't give away her postion. The obsidian wolfess spotted a weak female on the outside of the heard, she would be an easy target for the pack once more ranks are filled. Keeping low to the ground Bindi followed them, and from what it seems the caribou are staying in the boarders. Looks like there is a new source of food, for now.
