Bazi demanded to know what she smelled like. Relonikiv blinked, then slowly pushed himself upright. He wrapped his tail around his haunches and tipped his muzzle down toward his pale chest. Think, think, think! He had never been asked to describe a smell before and his vocabulary was limited at best, so even after a valiant effort, all he could really offer was a shrug.

"I denno," he said, little brow furrowing as he wondered whether this might agitate her all over again. "I thorry, Bathi," he simpered genuinely. He hated that he was upsetting and disappointing her, all out of nowhere.
