The world was so big, yet so small. Minion had managed to avoid any other encounters besides the one after the crash. But, the distant howls caught his attention and prompted the socially awkward dog to investigate. Howls equaled dogs, and while Minion wanted nothing to do with them, his curiosity got the better of him.

He arrived on the scene just in time to hear the words, "Stare them down." There was also another group that seemed to also be dogs. They smelled slightly different, but the difference in appearance went unnoticed; dogs came in all shapes and sizes. There was also the one dog he had encountered before. She was cast aside as soon as his gaze passed her.

It seemed as if a battle were about to take place. Since others were so unwilling to kill him, maybe he could get killed in the battle? If no one killed him then, the least he could do was save some other dog from this terrible life. Thus, he planted himself among the dogs as he glared at the other dog-like creatures.
